Give each part of the window a purpose

Start by deciding what belongs on the glass. A business identity, trading hours and a link to your booking page are different messages. They do not all need to compete for the same space. Our commercial signage offering includes shopfront and window graphics, so you can discuss the whole frontage or begin with a single item that needs updating.

Measure the usable area rather than the entire building frontage. Describe the window sections, existing graphics and the position where the new artwork should sit. A picture of the entrance helps explain how the glass relates to doors, surrounding signs and the visitor’s approach. If you want lettering rather than a printed panel, make that clear in the initial brief.

Opening hours that are ready to apply

The opening-hours product uses white cut-vinyl lettering for the outside of the window. It is supplied weeded with application tape to hold the layout together. You can personalise the listed template or supply artwork for your own arrangement. Check the finished dimensions and the actual hours before approving the design; those details need to be correct for your particular business.

The application side is part of the product specification. Our listed opening-hours graphics are for outside-glass application. If the available option does not match your project, enquire before placing the order rather than assuming the same item can be used in a different way.

Connect a physical entrance with an online destination

Google review stickers, QR menu and information stickers, and NFC window stickers are available in the shop. These products can link people to the destination you choose, such as a review page, menu or booking page. Check the destination link carefully and supply the branding requested by the listing. An NFC window sticker includes a programmed link and matching QR code; other sticker products have their own specifications.

Printed graphics and separated lettering

DIY business graphics offer a choice between a single-piece printed graphic and separated lettering or graphics supplied with application tape. That distinction affects the appearance and application of the finished item. Tell us whether the background is part of your design or whether you want the individual elements separated. Usable logo artwork gives us a better starting point than a small image copied from a screen.

Where artwork needs rebuilding, we scope the preparation with you. A new logo or broader identity can be handled through design services, while a straightforward graphic can start from your existing brand files. The purpose is to agree what will be produced before it reaches the window.

Discuss fitting and the rest of the frontage

For fitted work, our Hampton Downs operation confirms the location, access, preparation and travel in the quote. Supply-only options are available where the order is intended for you to apply. Explain which route you need and whether the window is one part of a larger premises update. Building signs, reception boards and footpath displays can then be considered as separate, related items rather than left out of the original brief.
